In the process of being demolished
There is a lot of history being lost in New Orleans, Johnson Lockett is the School that Ruby Bridges attended before the integration of Frantz. Generations of “Ruby Bridges” were educated at this school, as well as serving as a Neighborhood institution.
Watching the destruction of this historical landmark as well as the waste of reusable resources seems callous and ignorant as to the value of a cultural icon in the rebuilding of a Neighborhood.
To paraphrase..those who ignore History are destined to repeat it.

This demolition also made me take a look back at the Peck Hall demolition last year.
