1808-10 Cleveland Ave. {3rd Ward} FEMA 106

FEMA 106 List Aug. 10th, 2007

1808-10 Cleveland Ave. (1)

This house is in the HCDRC district, it should come up for review. The lower end of Cleveland is pretty desolate. Many houses stand isolated due to previous de-housification and some houses have been hosts to vagrants and caught on fire. Things aren’t looking good for this house.

Aren’t these 3rd ward homes in the vicinity of the proposed VA/Charity medical complex?

If you do let me know

    Thanks

    looks like it is

there was an article just this week in the TP outlining the boundaries of the VA complex

    http://www.nola.com/news/t-p/frontpage/index.ssf?/base/news-9/118776328569200.xml&coll=1

couldn’t find a map with the online story, but if I recall there was one in the actual paper

I think the medical complex boundaries are Tulane to Canal St. and Claiborne to Galvez
