    I’ve been looking on your site. I was refered from the article.
    Just wondering - for those that do get permission is any attempt made to salvage some of the architectural features that could possibly be used by someone with enough integrity to do a restoration? Clearly from your photos some of these houses don’t need to much work to put them right. The potenial is there. Cannot they restrict this demo to only those areas where flooding was severe?
    When does this demo funding by FEMA stop? Why can’t they say no demo till you come with approved plans for re-building? How many vacant lots will NO have when this is all done? What will happen to all these lots? Isn’t it a goal to get more housing so folks can return?

    Please post updates esp. on those who were denied.
