RESULTS APPROVED

1817 S. Dupre St. Owners Rodney and Carlotta Jefferson have applied to demolish this raised basement Arts-and-Crafts style bungalow to be replaced with a modular three-bedroom, two-bath residence “reminiscent of homes built in the 1940s”.

This area is largly populated with many homes of this style.

    these people are not to smart if they are using aphrase like “reminiscent of homes built
    in the 1940s”. They are trying to sound like they are smart and doing the neighboorhood a favor. Down With Modular Houses!!!

    so If owners who never took care of their house before katrina want to demolish it is ok but owners who take care of their house and want to demo cannot. that doesn’t seem fair,(although i am against most demolitions in hcdrc zones) people who had been lazy with their house before katrina should be forced to restore or sell.
